Artistic Stained Glass Courses in Rome

  For over thirty years, Paolo Corpetti has been dedicated to creating and teaching artistic stained glass, passing on an ancient craft that combines art, light, and color.   His artistic stained glass courses are designed for anyone wishing to learn authentic and creative glasswork: enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals who want to rediscover the beauty of a timeless, hands-on art.   

In the workshop, each participant works directly with glass, solder, and lead, discovering all stages of creating a stained glass piece:
from sketching the design, to cutting and grinding the glass pieces, to assembling with lead or copper (Tiffany technique), soldering, and painting on glass with grisaille and enamels.
During the course, it is also possible to explore kiln firing, engraving and decoration techniques, and the design of custom pieces.

The artistic glass courses are held in small groups, offering a personalized experience and direct contact with traditional techniques.

Each student is guided step by step: beginners learn the basics of leaded stained glass and the Tiffany technique, while those with experience can refine their grisaille painting or compose more complex stained glass works.

The goal is to teach you how to create a genuine stained glass piece with your own hands, carefully detailed and full of light.
